Arrive At Windhoek, Welcome & Transfer To Avani Hotel. Rest, Orientation, Dinner & Overnight

Meal: Dinner

After Breakfast We Drive Through Scenic Khomas Hochland Before Heading Down The Great Escarpment Into The Namib Desert. Stop At A Scenic Spot For Lunch. Arrive At Sossus Dune Lodge Late Afternoon. Time Permitting We Can Visit Sesriem Canyon Nearby. Since It’s Very Accessible We Can Spend Time Late Afternoon To Evening Photographing The Canyon. Photo Discussion & Problem Solving, Dinner & Overnight At Sossus Dune Lodge.

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We Wake Up Very Early. Set Out Before Sunrise To Capture The Dunes Whilst The Light Is Soft And Shadows Accentuate The Towering Shapes And Curves. We Explore Sossusvlei & Deadvlei Dune Areas Getting Some Of The Most Surreal Landscape Shots. We Can Have Our Packed Breakfast. Return To The Lodge Late Afternoon For A Late Lunch. Evening At Leisure & A Good Time For Some Related Chat & Problem Solving If We Have Encountered Any. Dinner & Overnight.

Another Early Morning Start For Our Balloon Safari Over The Namib Desert Getting Some Stunning Aerial Landscape Shots. Later, After Breakfast We Drive Through The Ever Changing Desert Landscape Of Namib Naukluft NP. We Meet The Coast At Walvis Bay & Then Continue On To Swakopmund. Should Reach Early Enough To Explore The Town & Wander Along The Waterfront Getting Some Great Images Of This Quaint Town. Dinner At A Popular Restaurant & Overnight At Strand Hotel Swakopmund.

After Breakfast We Head Towards Walvis Bay For Our Full Day Excursion Of Sandwich Harbour. We’ll Explore The Kuiseb River Delta, Saltpans, Flamingoes & The Wetlands.Great Photo Ops Of The Saltpans & Flamingoes & The Incredible Sight Of The Dunes Meeting The Water. Weather & Tide Permitting We May Drive Right To The Sandwich Harbour Lagoon. Return Late Afternoon & Evening At Leisure.

After A Slightly Early Breakfast We Head North To Dorob National Park To See The Seal Colony At Cape Cross Seal Reserve. Should Be An Exciting Morning Photography The Seals Lazying, Playing. After Getting Some Great Shots We Head Into The Wonderful & Diverse Region Of Damaraland, Viewing Game & Absorbing The Vastness Of The Land. We Can Visit The Twyfelfontein Pre-Historic Rock Engravings. We Reach Our Camp Before Sunset To Freshen Up For Dinner. Overnight At Doro Nawas.

After An Early Breakfast We Head For An Exciting 4x4 Excursion Along The Ephemeral Aba-Huab River To Search For Game, Especially The Elusive Desert Adapted Elephants & Rhinos. Damaraland Is Home To A Variety Of Desert Adapted Wildlife And Hidden Desert Treasures. Spend The Morning Photography This Incredible Landscape & With Some Serious Luck The Elephants & On A Perfect Day We Get The Rhino As Well. We Return To Camp For Lunch And A Well-Deserved Siesta. Late Afternoon Can Be Spent On Another Activity Into The Area, Or A Walk With Our Private Guide, Enjoying A Sundowner Before Returning To The Lodge To Freshen Up For Dinner.

After An Early Breakfast We Head Towards Etosha NP. En-Route We Visit A Local Himba Settlement. We May Have To Search For A While As The Semi-Nomadic Himba People Sometimes Move Location With No Notice. After Photographing The Himba Tribe & Getting Some Excellent Environmental Portraits We Have Our Packed Lunch & Head Towards Andersson’s Camp Arriving Late Afternoon. Dinner & Overnight At Andersson’s Camp.

Today Is For A Full Day Of Exciting Game Viewing Within The Central Section Of Etosha National Park From Our Private Safari Vehicles As We Make Our Way From Southern Etosha National Park To Halali (Where You May Stop For A Picnic Lunch) And Then On Across Via Selected Waterholes Such As Goas, Which Are Normally Particularly Good For Game Viewing, To Namutoni Camp In The East. You Will Be Needing Your Longest Tele From Here On. We Will Have To Leave The Park Before Sunset And Head Out To Stay At The Delightful Onguma – The Fort With Enough Time To Relax And Freshen Up Before Dinner. The Rest Of The Evening Can Be Spent Game Viewing At The Camp’s Floodlit Waterhole Where Game Comes And Goes Throughout The Day And Night Or Discussing The Progress Of Our Trip So Far.

We Have The Full Day To Explore The Game At This End Of Etosha Park. We Can Either Spend The Entire Day Out With Packed Lunch Or We Can Keep Coming & Going. Return Around Sunset, Relax, Freshen Up Before Dinner. Overnight At Onguma – The Fort.

After A Leisurely Breakfast We Start Traversing Our Way Back To The Capital City, Windhoek. The Drive Takes Us In A Southern Direction, Through The Towns Of Tsumeb, Otavi, Otjiwarongo And Okahandja Where We Can Stop Over And Visit The Mbangura Craft Market For Some Last Minute Curio Shopping & Get Some Great Market Shots As Well. Lunch Will Be En-Route And We Arrive At Avani Hotel Midafternoon. Our Farewell Dinner Tonight Is At The In-House Restaurant.
